Here's the Class A Berserkers, one of the most elite weapons Mason has in his force. They combine the brute power of the Class C's with the speed and bloodlust of the Class B's. In addition, the Class A's are very smart. They are not mindless rage freaks likes the Class C's, they are simply put, very controlled anger. The problem with these units was controlling them when they were first being tested, due to their size and intelligence, making them obedient proved to be a problem. Being that the source donor (human subject) was usually an adult of some sort, most of their conscience was still active after the transformation. Thus, the test subject wanted to escape rather than listen to orders.

To combat this Dr. V used test tube born girls as the subjects, that were age accelerated to age 18. Before the modified genome is injected into their genetic strand, micro bio-chips are installed onto the girls' brains. This chip controlled the girls memories and allowed the transformation to be triggered by a frequency. Once the frequency is picked up by the chip it essentially "mind rapes" the girl causing the transformation to occur. Any enemy is instantly perceived as the source of the induced nightmares and is obliterated. The transformation can also instantly be reversed with an opposite frequency.

Even though they can be controlled, they are expensive and time costly to make. There exists only one squad of ten. The 1st one of this squad was the most successful subject of all. The other nine were cloned off of her to ensure further success. The number one is the one with the mohawk running down it's back, the other nine look like the bottom one.

This design was pretty much a re-do of an old berserker design that looked to xenomorph-ish because of the lack of eyes. [link]
